Would you be able to tell me what is the best type of pepper plants that will grow sweet red peppers?

There are quite a few varieties of excellent sweet red peppers. If you're looking for a red bell pepper type, try 'Ace Hybrid', 'California Wonder', 'Jingle Bells Hybrid', or 'Bell Boy Hybrid'. For a long pointed sweet red pepper, try 'Corno di Toro' or 'Carmen Hybrid'. 'Red Sweet Cherry' is a small, round red pepper. All of these varieties start out green but ripen to red.
