? on regrowing plants

Hi, i have a raised planter from last yr, in which i planted peppers and strawberries that seem to be regrowing. Can these plants regrow, cuz i don't want to invest time if they are not going to be edible?

Strawberries are perennials and normally will grow for at least several years before they begin to decline in production. Peppers are annuals in most regions, but in Florida, where you live, they could survive winter and produce again a second year. But even in tropical areas, peppers are usually replanted each year.
