Yellow Leaves on Camellias
What may be causing the yellow/rusty leaves on my camellias. They bloom profusely but the foilage is not pretty. I live in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. thank you
Leaf yellowing on camellias can be caused by several things. If they get too much sun, the leaves can scorch and turn bronzy yellow. High pH or lack of adequate iron in the soil can cause interveinal yellowing, known as chlorosis. The camellia rust mite can cause general bronzing of the leaf. And camellia leaf yellow mottle virus can cause splotchy yellowing.
