Type of Tree

Is there such thing as a Hydrangea Tree? Are can you grow a Hydrangea to look like a tree?

Hydrangea grandiflora is often grown as a small tree. Select one strong shoot and remove all others to the ground. When the shoot reaches several feet tall, allow it to begin branching. That way it will form a "trunk" with a bushy top on it.
