Trimming crape myrtles twice?

Atlanta- Ga Our crape myrtles were trimmed about 2 weeks ago and leaves are forming but I do not like the shape of the trimming. Can I trim them again below the formation of the leaves?

Crape myrtles bloom on new wood, so pruning now won't eliminate bloom, but it likely will delay it. Avoid severe pruning after the plant has leafed out, but moderate shaping should be fine.
