Soil for Double Weeping Flowering Cherry

I just bought a Weeping Cherry Tree. I want to plant it close to but not under a Pine Tree and Oak Tree. Will this soil be O.K. for it? It will also be somewhat on a slope.

Both pine and oak trees can tend to lower a soil's pH and make it a little more acidic. The good news is that cherry trees, like all members of the genus Prunus, are pH adaptable. The soil should be just fine for your weeping cherry. Cherry trees do need a sunny site, so make sure that the oak and pine trees don't leave your tree in the shade.
