pecan tree

how do i plant a pecan tree? i live in san antonio tx.

Well all you really need is a sunny spot that gets at least 8 hours of sun a day and some space for the tree to expand. Plant the pecan tree at the same level as it was growing in the pot if you buy one at a local nursery. Then, water well and mulch around the base of the plant to eliminate weed competition and preserve soil moisture. That's all you really need to do.
