Magnolia flowers that turn brown

My magnolia tree (little gem) which I planted last year is doing great and full of blooms however when the flower opens up it turns brown and drops off the tree within 24 hours. The tree has absolutely no sign of disease. What could be wrong?

Hi, Well if the tree looks healthy I would guess it's temperature that's causing the problems. Whenever any of my magnolias bloom, the flowers will turn brown and drop off rather quickly if the weather gets hot and windy. Magnolia flowers don't last long on the plant anyway, but hot temperatures will move them along even quicker.
