dogwood leaves curling and drooping

we sprayed our dogwoods (just planted last year) with a fungicide but they are curling and drooping. They are between large oaks. Do you think the oaks are drawing water from the dogwoods and I should water them more?

Thanks for writing. Dogwoods do like moisture and oaks have big root systems, so the oaks could be drawing too much moisture from your dogwoods. Watering them more may help.

Did the leaves curl after you sprayed? Some sprays can damage plants and cause them to develop curled leaves.
