Crepe Myrtle doesn't bloom

I have a Crape myrtle that I have had for at least 10 yrs. It is 6 1/2- 7 ft tall. It leafs out beautifully every year but has not had a bloom on it since I bought it. I live in Southeastern Kentucky close to the Virginia border.

Crape myrtles need full sun, well-drained, slightly acidic soil and just a little fertilizer. Also, when do you prune it? You can prune Crape myrtle only from autumn through early spring. If you are pruning later, you may be cutting off the new blossoms.
