Cherry Bushes and Mulberry Trees

Hello, I have a question about cherry bushes; can you grow them in Ohio? What zone do they grow in? Also, if you cut down a mulberry tree that has been growing for about 25 years, can it grow back on its own? Thank you, Sheri

Mulberry will almost certainly return with stump sprouts. Treat the stump as soon as you cut it with brush killer and that will finish the job. Or remove the entire stump from the ground. (it's a lot easier to just treat the stump, needless to say!)

As for Cherry, you dont' say what kind of cherry -- there are many. Edible? Ornamental? They vary a great deal in hardiness, but I believe OHio is well within the range of most cherries.
