Boxwood Growing Conditions

How much light does a Boxwood need to thrive? I note that some say part sun, what would that entail?

Hi,

Thanks for writing. In many areas with hot, dry summers, boxwood tends to do best in part shade --- in this case being sun during the morning hours and shade during the hot afternoon. But you could also grow it in bright, dappled light. If it's in a spot that stays consistently moist, but not wet or saturated, it may do okay for you in full sun.
