blue hydraneas blooming white

I've recently planted blue hydraneas and they have started blooming but they are not blue, what do I do to get blue flowers.

Hi, Well do you still have the plant tag? It would help tremendously to know what kind of hydrangea you've planted. Not all of them can be made to change color and you may have one that's naturally white.

try puting some pennies in the soil, the copper helps to turn them blue.
