Avacado Trees from seed

I have an Avacado seedling planted from seed March 23, 2013 into a small clay pot. The top is very short and has multiple stems and has a lot of leaves. I just noticed there are some roots starting to come out of the drain hole. Should I re-pot this into a bigger pot? And, should I trim off some of the stems? Thank you for your help

Sounds like it might be time to move it up to a larger pot. I wouldn't trim off any shoots unless you really have a wild one that's detracting from the form of the plant.
