fertilizer with lime

i have very lightly sprinkled a 10-10-10 fertilizer in between the vegetable rows,then i very lightly dusted over the fertilizer with ? is,was i wrong in doing this

Hi, Well you only need to add lime if your soil has a very acidic pH. Otherwise, you don't need to use it. Buy a home test kit for pH and see what your soil is. But, the little you added won't do much harm either, even if your soil doesn't need it.
