I live in FL and as anyone knows the soil is mostly sand like and i want to plant dill. Do i need to add anything to my soil?

If you can grow other herbs and vegetables in your soil, you should be able to grow dill. If the soil is extremely sandy, it would help to add organic matter such as compost, tilled in to the top 6 or 8 inches. With well-drained sandy soil, you'll need to watch the watering closely, watering frequently during the germination stage.
