self-cleaning roses

Do you ever have to dead-head self-cleaning roses? Please tell me which roses are self-cleaning & are there any that have fragrance? thank you

Most of the newer landscape/shrub roses don't require deadheading to look good. You can trim off the old flower clusters or shape the stems by pruning if you wish, but it's not necessary. This applies to the Knock Out Series, Easy Elegance Series, and Flower Carpet Series of roses. A couple of these that have good fragrance are High Voltage and Sweet Fragrance.
