roses

I live in Englewood NJ. the temperature right now is 34 degress.Can I plant roses in my back yard?

Hi,

 

Thanks for writing. You should be able to plant bare-root roses in your area, but I'd hold off on any potted roses that are leafed out already. These potted roses are probably shipped in from a warmer climate and may suffer damage if your area sees frosty temperatures.
