Frost damage to roses

Two weeks ago Kansas had damaging frost. My roses had already started putting on green leaves. Now, they have lots of dead looking leaves but some of them are started to put on green leaves again. What should I do about the damaged leaves and the dead looking parts of the rose bushes?

If you are safely beyond your last frost date, it's time to remove the frost-damaged leaves and prune off the frost-damaged tips. Sprinkle the ground with a slow-release fertilizer so the roses will easily find the nutrients they need as they releaf.
