30 year old rose bushes

"I have some very old roses and for the last five years they seem to be in decline (less roses, leaves and strong stems). Should I keep babying them or pull and plant new. They also suffer from black spot and I have tried all the methods to eliminate but every year it comes back. I might add that the roses grew beautifully in the same spot for 25 years. "

If these were my plants, I'd pull them, plant new healthy varieties that are more resistant to Black Spot disease. I just don't think it's worth the constant spraying for Black Spot when there are many newer varieties that are resistant to the disease.
