Trimming Sago's after a freeze

When do I trim a sago plant that went through a freeze this year in Southeast Texas? The branches are brown, is there anything I should know before cutting them all off?

Hi,

Thanks for writing. If the branches are dead, you can cut them off. But if there's still a bit of green, I'd leave them for now to help the plant regenerate.

Other than that, I can't think of anything special you need to know.
