I have a variety of shrubs that need pruning. Is this a good time (we already are having frosty mornings in WA.)? How much do I prune?

Hi, The best time to prune deciduous shrubs and trees is in the winter while they are dormant. Evergreens are best pruned in the spring as they develop new growth.
