Angels Trumpet

I live in zone 6 and just got a angels trumpet this summer from a small plant. It's only about 18 inches tall. I know that I should bring it in for winter months, but is it too soon to prune it way down and do I continue to water it inside? Linda Spears

Hi, So sorry it's taken so long to get back to you, but our Garden Doctor system has been in repair for about a month. Anyway, the best thing to do is to bring  your angel's trumpet indoors before it freezes and then keep it in a cool, bright location. It may go dormant for you and if it does,  you can prune off a bit of the top if you like. Otherwise, leave it alone and just keep the soil barely moist, but not wet.
