Transplanting Russian Sage.

Is there any special care to transplanting Russian sage? Mine has grown large and not receiving full sun so is flopping over. I want to move to full sun but have read that it does not like to be moved. Fall or Spring time is best? I live in Northern Indiana so we do have cold winters. Thank you, Richie.

The best time to transplant it is in the early spring, just as it's beginning to show a little new growth. Just dig as large of a root ball as you can and it should be fine if you work early in the season.
