Transplanting hardy hibiscus
I live in NH, zone 5. I would like to transplant a 2 yr. old hardy hibiscus. My question is: when is the best time to do this? Now or wait until I see new growth? Thank you
Now would probably be better, but it also won't hurt if you wait until you see new growth. I've successfully transplanted hardy hibiscus in both spring and fall, and they are such amazing and durable plants that they've never even showed any stress of transplant shock.
