perennial japanese lantern plant info

Thanks for writing. Chinese lantern (Physalis alkekengi) is a very aggressive, fast-spreading perennail that grows 3 feet tall and wide. It sends out underground stems that can sprout up several feet away from the main plant, however.

The easiest form of propagation is to divide the plant.
