Ornamental grasses

When is the best time of the year to plant ornamental grasses? I want to do the "Corner of Grasses" garden plan. I live in East Kansas, Zone 5.

Most ornamental grasses are best planted in spring or early summer, because the majority of them are warm-season grasses that grow well during the heat of summer. If planted late in fall, they may not establish as well during cool weather.
