Montauk Daisies

I have 2 Montauk Daisy plants which have been in my garden for 2 years now. Each year, they grow well and then get very leggy before blooming. What should I be doing before they reach this stage? I cut them to the ground each fall, miracle grow them 2 - 3 times during the growing season.

Hi, One of the reasons they are getting leggy (which they often do on their own) is that you are probably overfeeding them. Cut out the Miracle Grow. They don't need it and it's causing the plants to grow too much foliage.
