Dividing creeping phlox

Hi

The best time to divide it would be in the very early spring, just as it's coming out of dormancy. Simply use a sharp spade and dig sections of the size you want and move immediately. These plants like good drainage and full sun. I've had best luck with them on an east-facing slope.
