Delphinium seedlings leaves yellow

I just transplanted delphinium seedlings a few days ago and although i added rooting hormone and the leaves were normal color, they are now yellow and I wonder if they will survive. Please advise what to do now. Many thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for writing. It may simply be transplant shock --- this is perfect natural and expected when you move a plant, especially with seedlings. In most cases, if you keep them moist while they become reestablished, they'll get settled and grow just fine. If it looks like they're kind of wilty and struggling, then providing them with some temporary shade can help them recover.
