can I grow coneflowers in southern california.

Live in Southern Ca. someone at a garden center said that coneflowers are perennials and have to be reseeded yearly. True or false.

Coneflowers (Echinacea spp.) are perennial flowers, which means that they will last for several to many years if given the right growing conditions. They like full sun and moist, but well-drained soil. They do NOT need to be planted yearly as annual flowers do.
