What to do about dog pee spots in lawn?

HELP! I adopted a female yellow labrador last fall and now that the snow is gone, there are many dead grass spots where she urinates. I have ordered yard guard for future problems, but what do I do about the grass now?

The salts will gradually dissipate  as rain and snow melt  wash it out of the soil. So, just reseed this spring and you'll probably have no trouble getting grass to grow in those spots. If you do, just wait a little longer. You can sprinkle a little gypsum on the area to help speed up the process of leaching out the salts, but my guess is that a few good soakings will be adequate.
