Absolutely! Before moving the sod, prepare the area to be sodded by removing twigs and other debris. Fill any low spots with good quality topsoil, and break up clods that are more than 2 inches in diameter. A sod cutter is easy to rent and will make the job of digging out the sod you?d like to transplant a lot easier. You can also use a flat spade to uproot the sod in small areas. After moving the sod, water it regularly until it is well-established.
