creeping charlie in lawn

I live in Northwest Indiana and have a problem with creeping charlie in the can I control or eliminate it?

Creeping charlie is difficult to control at best. You can use traditional broadleaf herbicides (such as dandelion controls) to keep it from taking over everything, but such treatments seldom eliminate the creeping charlie. Another option is treating the creeping charlie with borax, because creeping charlie is more sensitive to boron toxicity than is grass or most other plants.
