Clover in the Grass

How do I get rid of the clover in my grass?
Submitted by BHGPhotoContest

Having clover in your lawn means that the grass wants nitrogen, which clover brings. Clover used to be included in some grass seed mixtures for this reason. So take the hint and make sure your lawn is getting enough nitrogen in the supplements you are using. If you must get rid of the clover, use a broadleaf herbicide containing the phenoxy-type herbicide, 2,4-D, MCPP and dicamba salt (Trimec, found in Weed-No-More) and apply in early fall.
