Bermuda Take Over

How can I get rid of the bermuda grass that is taking over my fescue grass?
Submitted by BHGPhotoContest

Unfortunately there is no easy selective solution to getting rid of Bermudagrass in a fescue lawn. Any herbicide that will kill Bermudagrass will also kill fescue. If the Bermudagrass is confined to patches, you can spot treat them with glyphosate (Roundup) to kill the Bermudagrass and then reseed or resod with fescue. If the Bermudagrass is scattered throughout the lawn, it may be easiest to kill everything and reseed or resod the entire lawn.
