Will the little white lights I put up amoung my azaleas cause any problems with the health and growth of the plants?
Using lights year-round in your shrubs should have little effect on the plants' health. You might notice that your azaleas don't bloom as well, but this will depend on the brightness of the lights and how long they are burning at night. Azaleas are sensitive to the length of the day-it's what tells them to bloom. If the plants receive too much light during the night hours, it could trick them into behaving as though the days are longer than they really are, thus keeping them from blooming at the right time.
