Under the Shade - mud, slope & shade
We have a huge maple tree that's great for shade but we need to do something about the ground underneath. So much shade the grass wont grow & it becomes a muddy mess. Did I mention the ground is sloped? Thought of building it up to make a gentle slop to the main grass yard but the space is so big we are stuck on ground cover & plantings. Its about an 10x12 area, with a hedge behind the space so the area is a rectangle with the tree in the middle back. Need plantings to sides & the front. Ideas?
