I have ivy that was planted a few years ago and it has taken over. I have pulled it all out and might still have some underlying roots there. Is there any thing that can kill the roots so it wont grow back?
You could try Round-up herbicide. It may take a few applications, but it should kill the ivy back to the roots. Follow label directions. You can buy Round-up at most garden centers or home centers.
