How can I get kids to stop ruining my grass?
We have a corner lot and a sidewalk in front of our home. It is also a bus stop pick up and drop off for about 15 children. How do I stop people from cutting across my lawn??
Hi, Well to me it seems like you have two options. Install a fence because even a low ornamental picket fence will remind people not to trespass on your lawn. Or, you could plant a barrier hedge of shrub roses or barberry. The plants will add color to your landscape and their thorny branches will keep people at bay. It really depends on how much sunlight you have. Both barberry and shrub roses require at least 6 to 8 hours of sun a day.
