Caterpillar infestation

My Blue Muffin Arrowwood Viburnum is infested with caterpillars. How can I get rid of them and protect the plant? It has been infested for two years in a row.

Hi, You can spray the plants with an organic herbicide containing Bt, Bacillus thuringiensis. This is a naturally occuring bacterium that will freeze up the insects stomach, killing them. Or, if you want to try something a bit faster, use Sevin. Most independent garden centers or home stores should carry what you need.
