Bees in garden

I have a knockout rose bush in my garden, there are a lot of weeds there too. There are also bees that started coming this year. I'm afraid to weed the garden because of the weeds. What can I do?

Most bees in the garden are quite intent on pollinating the flowers, and have little interest in attacking you. One strategy is to go to the garden when they are less likely to be there. That means cloudy days, cool periods or late evening. Wear long-sleeves and pants and move slowly and deliberately so as to not startle them.
