Hi there, some plants tips naturally turn brown as the plant ages and grows. One of the best methods to determine how your plant is doing is to purchase a low cost pH meter. This meter will tell the ph (too acid or too alkaline) of the soil. All you do is stick it in your plants soil and presto ! you get a reading in which you can compare to a chart. You would then ad the necessary supplement to correct the ph to the proper level. http://www.groworganicvegetablegardening.com
