The right type of H2O for my houseplants?

What type of water is best for watering houseplants?
Submitted by spoiled-melissa

Hi, I always prefer to use room temperature water (during the winter) and, if possible, let it sit long enough for the chlorine to dissipate. So, basically, once I water, I fill up my watering cans and let them sit until the next time I water.
