How do I save my orchid?
Received a phalaenopsis orchid, was doing well but lost all it's blooms. I never repotted it and left it in it's glass dish and added water when needed. Is it too late to put it in soil and try it again?
Orchids go through bloom cycles. They don't bloom constantly. Perhaps your phalaenopsis completed its bloom cycle and is now in a resting phase. This would be the time to repot it, if necessary. Phalaenopsis don't grow well in soil, however. They should be planted in orchid bark mix, or some similar coarse material that drains well.
