Better Homes and Gardens self watering pot
I purchased a BH & G self watering ceramic pot for my African violet - but don't know how to use it? Can you give some instructions? Shouldn't there be some drainage holes? Linda Crystal Lake, IL
I'm not certain which self-watering pot that you purchased, but most ceramic self-watering pots for African violets use a pot-in-pot system. The outer pot holds water, and the inner pot wicks water through the pot to the soil inside. You simply fill the water reservoir in the outer pot, and it should keep the soil in the inner pot moist.
