Are there any plants we should keep away from our small twins and puppy?

Our household has changed a lot in the past year. Our twins are now crawling and exploring, and we have a puppy that's into everything. I figure our new arrivals will discover the houseplants any day. Are there any plants we should keep away from them?

Most houseplants are harmless to kids and pets, but there are a few that can give a bad stomachache if eaten or a nasty rash if the sap gets on skin. Here are some plants you should keep out of the reach of kids and pets: azalea (Rhododendron), clivia (Clivia miniata), croton (Codiaeum variegatum pictum), crown-of-thorns (Euphobia milii), dumb cane (Dieffenbachia), English ivy (Hedera helix), fig (Ficus), flamingo flower (Anthurium), golden pothos (Epipremnum aureum), heart-leaf philodendron (Philodendron scandens), hyacinth (Hyacinthus), oleander (Nerium), peace lily (Spathiphyllum), Swiss cheese plant (Monstera deliciosa)
