Amaryllis - Bloom ever again?

I had received an amaryllis as a gift. It keeps growing and growing. Leaves are very healthy looking. How can I get it to bloom?

Water and fertilize regularly through summer to keep those leaves growing. Before frost, bring it back inside and let the foliage die back naturally. Keep the bulb, in its pot, in a cool, dark, dry place for several months. Then bring it out to a warm spot and begin watering to start the new bloom cycle. When it is actively growing again, use some diluted houseplant fertilizer and it will bloom again.
