Why is my Sago Palm growing a very tiny frond?

My Sago Palm is almost finished growing it's new fronds for the year. There is one frond that is very tiny, probably around 10% the length of the other fronds, and is starting to develop tiny leaves. It's also kind of bent and misproportioned. Should I leave this frond on the plant or should I prune it?

As long as the frond doesn't look diseased or damaged other than being smaller than normal, you can leave it in place, unless you feel that it disfigures the plant.
