When is the best time to plant vinca minor?

I live in Utah (Zone 6) and we have a slope in our front yard where we want to plant some periwinkle (vinca minor). When is the best time to plant this - fall or spring?

Thanks for writing. You can plant vinca in the ground pretty much anytime from late April to October or early November. Planting in autumn gives it a head start for the spring, but it doesn't make much of a difference to the plant; one season isn't better for planting than another.
